PAPA AND MAMAs 2009 homecoming

 

 

Papa and mama came home October of 2009. Papa went 2 major operations early part of the year, we are so grateful for this chance of him being home again and be with us again.

We celebrated papas birthday here in manila..kuya Yon and his family came over..also tita Edith..We invited only the relatives (as papas request)..and some few family friends. Papa and mama danced as we sang to him the waray version of mananita song. Then each one of us kissed and greeted him a happy birthday. Papa thanked us and it was a good thing to see him happy.

A week stay in the city. Then we flew to Sulat. We were able to attend the fiesta of Oras during our stay in the province. It was an opportunity of meeting our family and friends in my mothers hometown.

It is always a happy moment when family is around. But this homecoming is more meaningful because we are more grateful for this chance of being together and for everything, for all the blessings from our Lord.

ANNA LIMs WEDDING

 Anna Delia Lim and Dexter Mengotes wedding. The ceremony took place in St. Peter church commonwealth. Followed by the reception held in Gazebo Royal.

Since papa and mama were in Manila on their wedding day, and the couple sent us invites, we decided to be there on their wedding day. 


 








Funny thing, cos I was the one who got the Brides bouquet.  It was mostly cousins and friends in the wedding, so it was a chance of catching up with relatives and friends in Oras. 

CHRISTMAS 2008

Christmas 2008 was celebrated just by having a simple dinner and lunch on the 25th with my siblings..The other members of the family were celebrating too in the other side of the globe..
What makes this Christmas more special is the addition of a member in the family..It is Arron s first Christmas in  Lagro and we made it special for him by showering him lots of gifts.

The opening of gifts was fun because we were all thrilled to see what we gonna get and what  Arron gets.

Food was great too..we didn't prepare much..but the few we had on the table was good enough..appetizer was fries..sea foods like tiger prawns for the main dish and the dessert consist of chocolate fondue with fresh strawberries and  and more sweets..

To sum it up, it was a quiet and simpleChristmas '08. We preferred it that way and it was a happy celebration of Jesus birthday and Arron's first Christmas.
